Textile Exchange’s Climate+ strategy is embedded across all of the organization’s platforms and offerings: Textile Exchange standards are evolving to ensure clear linkages between practices and beneficial environmental and social outcomes. Round Tables drive action in specific fiber and materials categories, such as cotton, synthetics, animal fibers, and man-made cellulosics. Research, including the Preferred Fiber and Materials Market Report and the Regenerative Agriculture Landscape Analysis, provides unique information critical to accelerating the uptake of more sustainable raw materials. The Corporate Fiber and Materials Benchmark is the go-to reporting framework for corporate reporting on sustainable materials progress. Tools such as the Preferred Fiber and Materials Matrix and the Global Fiber Impact Explorer offer guidance to understand the risks and trade-offs associated with different materials options and make informed strategy and sourcing decisions. Textile Exchange events, including its annual conference and regular webinars, convene the industry to advance knowledge and collaborate toward solutions. It is also important to note that achieving Textile Exchange’s Climate+ goal will require partnerships within and beyond the fashion and textile sector to accelerate the adoption of existing tools as well as to enable disruptive innovation and systems change.
